| Plot Summary |
Once a renowned con-couple who were never caught, Rakesh Trivedi and Vimmi Saluja AKA Bunty and Babli, now live a reformed life in a sleepy heartland town of Phursatganj with their son Pappu and a midlife crisis. One fine day, their quiet life gets turned upside down when their trademark sigil starts appearing across India in a spate of con jobs. An over ambitious Inspector Jatayu Singh picks them up for questioning and turns out that a couple of imposters are pulling off con jobs using Bunty and Babli’s name. This doesnt go well with the original Bunty and Babli.
Inspector Jatayu has some other scheme in his mind, as his intention is to catch impostors and originals in one go to get appreciation as well as job promotion.
When the original ones gets to know about someone using their brand, they are not ready to take this lying down, Rakesh and Vimmi embark on a humorous and thrilling cat-n-mouse chase to catch the imposters and save their brand. This creates a humorous series of events which come together as a light hearted comedy film. |
